The short version. ProvaCam is a camera that stamps date, time, coordinates and address onto your photos and videos, organises everything by project and keeps the files on your device. If you want, it also sends a copy to a folder in your own Google Drive — in that case it only accesses the files it created itself.
There is no account on our platform, there is no server of ours, and we have no access to your photos, your videos or your location. What leaves the device is what you send to your Drive, plus the advertising and diagnostic data described below.

We process only what is needed for the application to work. The table below says what is processed, why and where it stays.

We do not process your contacts, your emails, your messages, your files outside the folders the application creates, or health or financial data. We do not profile you to make decisions about you, and we do not use your files to train artificial intelligence models.
Camera, microphone and location permissions can be denied and revoked at any time in the Android settings; without them the corresponding features stop working and the rest of the application continues.
Backup is optional and uses Google's drive.file scope: the application only sees the folders and files it created itself — it does not read, list or change the rest of your Drive. The files go from your device straight to your Google account, without passing through any server of ours.
Uploading is automatic once enabled. To stop it, disconnect the account in the application (or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions); files already uploaded stay in your Drive and can be deleted by you at any time.
We process data on the following bases, under the LGPD (Brazilian Law 13.709/2018) and, where applicable, the GDPR:
ProvaCam is free and is funded by Google AdMob ads. Google and its partners may collect the device advertising identifier and usage data to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud. See Google's policy for partner sites and apps and the advertising rules.
You can limit personalisation in Settings → Google → Ads, including deleting or resetting the advertising identifier. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the application asks for your consent, through Google's form, before showing ads and before enabling usage analytics; you can review that choice at any time in Settings → Privacy and ads.
We use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to know which features are used and to fix errors. The events we record are about usage and failure (for example: capture completed, upload completed, upload failed, project created, application version, device model and the technical text of the error).
We do not send those services the content of your photos or videos, the address, the coordinates, file names or any text you type. That is why the application does not ask for your name, email or phone number to work.
We do not sell or rent data. Sharing is limited to providers needed for the application to work, all with their own policies:
Google services process data on servers outside Brazil, including in the United States. The transfer relies on the contractual safeguards adopted by Google (standard contractual clauses and the data processing addendum), in line with article 33 of the LGPD.
The LGPD guarantees you, among others: confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymisation or deletion of unnecessary data, portability, information about sharing, withdrawal of consent and objection to processing. Because most of the data stays under your control on the device itself and in your Drive, many of these rights are exercised directly through the application and the Android settings.
For anything that depends on us, write to vnmapps@protonmail.com: we reply within 15 days. You may also complain to the ANPD (gov.br/anpd). If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the same rights under the GDPR and may complain to the data protection authority of your country.
Deletion of data. Uninstalling the application deletes the local database and the media in the application folder; the copies in your Drive must be deleted in your own account. If you want us to delete usage and diagnostic data already sent, ask by the email above and we will request the deletion from Google.
Media and settings are stored in the application's private storage on the device, protected by Android permissions. Access to your Drive uses the token of your own account and the minimum scope (drive.file), and traffic to Google is encrypted (HTTPS). We do not keep a user database: there is no server on our side where your captures could leak.
ProvaCam is a work tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; if a guardian identifies misuse, just write to our contact and we will delete whatever is within our reach.
We may update this policy to follow changes in the application or in the law. The current version is always published on this page, with the update date at the top. Relevant changes will be announced in the application or on the store listing.
